Course #7
Of One Heart: Building Effective Teams
Teams, Teams, Teams: it seems that is all we hear about today. Teams
are literally revolutionizing how people view and carry out work in today’s
world. But teams just don’t "magically happen," and just calling
a team a team doesn’t make it one! I really enjoy presenting this workshop…it
is fun, the concepts are true, and the tools and ideas work! I will take
your group through a fun, introductory experience that will help them
"feel" the process of team building. We will then explore powerful,
hands-on techniques for turning work-groups into a highly effective teams.
In-depth information is provided on the advantages of team building, what
constitutes an effective team, the nature of teamwork, and many techniques
and activities that will build and strengthen a team into a group that
is truly "of one heart." Weather and space permitting, I have
some great team-building games that go along with this workshop that illustrate
the Forming, Norming, Storming and Performing states of team development.
