"The greatest motivational act one person can do for another is to listen."--Roy E. Moody, Pres. Moody and Associates

Course #17

Now Hear You! Becoming a Powerful Listener

One of the greatest acts of service one can render another human being is to simply listen. Listening is an art form…the skills of listening must be learned and practiced. It is an art I struggle to master myself (just ask my wife!) I have designed this workshop to explore in depth the art of effective listening. We will learn and practice together the skills of active and empathic listening, providing concrete feedback to the speaker, and validating the emotions and content behind the message. My goal is to help all of us become powerful, empathic listeners who can help others find solutions to their own problems. This workshop is a must for anyone who wants to deepen interpersonal relationships and improve overall communication in the workplace and personal settings.
