"
The task of leadership is not to create greatness in people, but to elicit it, for the greatness is already there." --John Buchan

Unleash the Power: Managing Individual Performance

The best leaders are those who know how to influence others to release their full potential towards accomplishing the important things. Yet, we often make great effort to hire good people, then fail to provide the needed direction, guidance and motivation. I’ve designed this workshop to help you develop individual employees, enhancing their performance and increasing their productivity and job satisfaction. Come learn how to make the most of your performance evaluation system and how to motivate and lead individuals. Assistance can be offered in designing performance evaluation systems.

I can accompany this workshop by administering an online 360 degree peer review or profile for your participants for fifty dollars each. I bring these into the workshop and coach participants through the process of creating a development plan. This is very effective.

DESIRED OUTCOME
A more positive and effective use of performance evaluation programs and other personal development tools to increase the motivation and development of personnel.

RECOMMENDED FOR
All supervisors and leaders who are involved in the management of individual performance through regular performance appraisal programs and other performance management tools.

KEY CONCEPTS
Managing individual performance concepts; using performance appraisal systems to motivate, not just report; concepts of individual motivation; setting individual performance and development goals; using professional development worksheets; conducting regular performance reviews; developing 360 degree feedback systems.

LENGTH
2-4 hours, depending on what outcomes are desired. Two hours are sufficient to cover and practice the skills. Four hours enable deeper learning and practice and working on specific issues such as designing or redesigning performance appraisal systems and forms.
