Course #23

Round Pegs, Round Holes: Interviewing and Selecting the "Right Hire."

Almost everything begins with "a hire," good or bad. Hiring the right people makes it or breaks it, and that’s the bottom line. I’ve created this workshop to help you learn key information on how to attract, interview and select the right person for your job opening. Learn how to prepare for the interview, screen applicants, and how to ask the kind of open ended questions that glean the information you really need. A list of sample legal open-ended interview questions is provided. My whole goal is to help your organization staff itself with the kind of people that can make your dreams come true.

DESIRED OUTCOME
The right people will be hired into positions in your organization through effective interview processes.

RECOMMENDED FOR
Anyone directly involved in the hiring process for new employees.

KEY CONCEPTS
Preparing effective job descriptions; preparing for the interview; conducting the interview; asking legal open-ended questions; do’s and don’ts for interviewers; how to avoid legal problems in interviews; following up with those selected and non-selected.

LENGTH
Two hours.
